These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all ticket purchases for any event (“Event”) hosted by Epoch Consultancy (“Organizer”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By purchasing a ticket, you (“you”, “attendee”, “ticket holder”) agree to these Terms and acknowledge your rights under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (C159).
1. Non-Refundable Ticket Policy
1.1 All tickets are non-refundable, except where required under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) or as stated in these Terms.
1.2 A change in your personal circumstances (including illness, travel changes, or work commitments) does not entitle you to a refund or exchange.
2. Website Use
2.1 Content: The content on this website is for general information and use only. It is subject to change without notice.
2.2 Cookies: This website uses cookies to monitor browsing preferences. If you allow cookies to be used, personal information may be stored by us for use by third parties.
2.3 Accuracy of Information: We strive to ensure that the information on this website is accurate and up to date. However, we do not provide any warranty or guarantee of the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of the information and materials found or offered on this website for any particular purpose. You acknowledge that such information and materials may contain inaccuracies or errors, and we expressly exclude liability for any such inaccuracies or errors to the fullest extent permitted by law.
2.4 Changes to Terms: We reserve the right to modify, alter or update these Terms at any time. You agree to be bound by such modifications, alterations or updates on subsequent visits.
3. Refund Eligibility Period
3.1 Refunds may be requested up to 3 full days (72 hours) before the Event start time.
3.2 After this time, no refunds will be issued, including in cases of non-attendance, unless the Event is cancelled or significantly changed as outlined in Section 6.
3.3 To request a refund within the eligibility window, please contact us in writing.
4. Pricing
4.1 All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are inclusive of Goods and Service Tax (GST) where applicable.
4.2 Prices shown with each good do not include delivery and handling charges and we reserve the right to change the prices of our products at any time without prior notice.
4.3 The Seller reserves the right to correct any errors on the Website.
5. Payment
5.1 Payment must be made and received in full prior to acceptance of an Order by the Seller.
5.2 Payment must be made through the Website using the accepted payment methods offered on the Website.
5.3 To the extent permitted by law, the Seller will not be responsible for any damages or consequential losses suffered by a User through the fraudulent or unauthorised usage.
6. Refunds Under Australian Consumer Law
Under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), you are entitled to a refund, replacement, or remedy if the Event:
6.1 Is cancelled by the Organizer;
6.2 Differs significantly from what was advertised (e.g. speaker, location, or format changes);
6.3 Is not provided with reasonable care and skill;
6.4 Is otherwise in breach of consumer guarantees under the ACL.
If such circumstances occur, we will offer you the remedy required by law. This may include a full refund, a credit, or a rescheduled event, depending on the situation.
7. Cancellation by Organizer
7.1 You will receive a full refund of the ticket price;
7.2 Refunds will be issued to the original payment method;
7.3 Refunds will be processed within 7–14 business days;
7.4 We are not liable for any other costs you may have incurred (e.g. accommodation or travel).
8. Intellectual Property Rights
8.1 Ownership: This website contains material that is owned by or licensed to us. This material includes, but is not limited to, the design, layout, look, appearance, and graphics. Reproduction is prohibited other than in accordance with the copyright notice, which forms part of these Terms.
8.2 Trademarks: All trademarks reproduced in this website, which are not the property of, or licensed to the operator, are acknowledged on the website. Unauthorized use of this website may give rise to a claim for damages and/or be a criminal offense.
8.3 Images on this website may not be copied, reproduced or used for any other purpose, including but not limited to linking to these images from external sources.
9. Changes to the Event
We reserve the right to make minor changes to the Event (e.g. timing, format, or speaker) without offering a refund.
If there is a major change that materially alters the nature of the Event (such as a change in location for in-person events, cancellation of key speakers, or major schedule revisions), attendees may be offered:
9.1 A full or partial refund;
9.2 A credit for a future Event;
9.3 The option to transfer the ticket to another person.
10. Privacy
10.1 Our Privacy Policy is available here which covers how personal information is utilised in accordance with Australian Privacy Act 1988.
11. Limitation of Liability
11.1 Use at Your Own Risk: Your use of any information or materials on this website is entirely at your own risk, for which we shall not be liable. It shall be your own responsibility to ensure that any products, services, or information available through this website meet your specific requirements.
11.2 Indemnity: You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless the Seller, its directors, officers, employees, consultants, agents, and affiliates, from any and all third-party claims, liability, damages, and/or costs (including, but not limited to, legal fees) arising from your use of this website or your breach of the Terms.
12. User Account
12.1 Registration: To access certain parts of the website, you may need to create an account. You must ensure that the information you provide is accurate and complete.
12.2 Responsibility: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password.
13. Waiver
13.1 Should the Seller not exercise or enforce any right or clause under these Terms, this will not constitute a waiver of such right or clause.
14. Severability
14.1 If any section of these Terms are determined to be invalid, unlawful, void or unenforceable then only that section will be deemed severed from these Terms with the remaining sections being the agreement between you and the Seller.
15. Governing Law
15.1 Your use of this website and any dispute arising out of such use of the website is subject to the laws of Victoria, Australia and you irrevocably submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Victoria, Australia.
16. No-Show Policy
16.1 If you fail to attend the Event for any reason and have not requested a refund at least 3 days prior, you will not be eligible for a refund, credit, or transfer.
17. Ticket Transfers
17.1 Tickets are transferable. You may nominate someone else to attend in your place at no extra cost.
17.2 Please notify us at least 48 hours before the Event with the new attendee’s full name and contact information.
18. Online Events & Access Links
18.1 If the Event is held online, a unique video conferencing access link (e.g. Zoom, Teams, etc.) will be provided to each ticket holder.
18.2 These links are non-transferable and intended for the registered attendee only.
18.3 You agree not to share, forward, or publicly post your unique access link.
18.4 Violation of this policy may result in removal from the Event and/or legal action.
19. Force Majeure
We are not liable for any delay or failure to deliver the Event caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
19.1 Natural disasters;
19.2 Government restrictions;
19.3 Pandemics or health emergencies;
19.4 Internet or technical failures;
19.5 Strikes or labour disputes.
In such cases, we reserve the right to reschedule the Event or offer credit/refund options at our discretion.

21.1 By purchasing a ticket, you confirm you have read and understood these Terms;
21.2 Acknowledge that your rights are protected under the Australian Consumer Law; and
21.3 Agree to abide by the conditions set out herein, including refund eligibility and online access rules.
